Role Description The Project Lead – Interior will oversee end-to-end execution of interior fit-out projects, from planning and design coordination to on-site implementation and final handover. Daily responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources; coordinating with clients, architects, designers, vendors, and contractors; and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and ISO standards. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, resolving site issues, monitoring progress, and preparing regular reports for management and stakeholders.
The Project Lead will also support decision-making on materials and finishes, optimize workflows, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination for interior fit-out projects.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience in on-site supervision, vendor and contractor coordination, and quality and safety compliance within interior projects.
- Proficiency in communication and stakeholder management, including client interaction, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of modern interior materials, finishes, and technologies, with an eye for design detail and functional aesthetics.
- Relevant educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Proven experience in leading interior fit-out projects, ideally in commercial or corporate environments; ISO-compliant project exposure is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving client requirements and timelines.
