Project Manager

Job Purpose: Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of bespoke engineering projects from initial customer engagement through design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and final handover. This is a customer-facing role suited to someone with a strong engineering background and proven experience managing complex capital equipment or industrial automation projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage projects from award through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.

Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and risk registers. Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with Sales, Design, Manufacturing, and Installation teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Review and approve technical solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements. Support on-site installation and commissioning activities. Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates.

Identify opportunities for project variations and additional revenue where appropriate. Education and Experience: A degree, or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. Proven project management experience within capital equipment, industrial machinery, automation, or manufacturing.

Experience managing projects from concept through installation and commissioning. Strong commercial awareness and excellent customer relationship skills. Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and project planning tools such as MS Project.

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel within Ireland and internationally as required.
