Position: Project Manager
Location: Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
The Project Manager will be part of Lightera's emerging PMO organization, supporting the execution of high-priority corporate initiatives, including large-scale global CAPEX programs across manufacturing, fiber, and technology-enabled operations.
This role will manage complex cross-functional and cross-regional projects, including execution, reporting, risk tracking, stakeholder coordination, and implementation activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic transformation and Global CAPEX initiatives
- Guide implementation planning, project tracking, and execution activities
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, and action items to help ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to maintain alignment across initiatives in manufacturing
- Prepare project status updates, dashboards, reporting materials, and meeting documentation for leadership reviews
- Support project governance processes, including tracking deliverables, timelines, budgets, and dependencies
- Help identify operational challenges, risks, and improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Assist in developing and maintaining project management tools, templates, KPIs, and reporting metrics
- Participate in change management and continuous improvement activities to support sustainable implementation
- Support site transformation managers and project teams with execution coordination and follow-up activities
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and project discussions to support collaboration and issue resolution
- Contribute to business case development, ROI analysis, and project documentation as needed
- Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across operations, engineering, supply chain, and corporate functions
- Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining organization and prioritization
- Travel up to 25%
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA Preferred
- Solid experience in project management within operations, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or related environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles, process improvement methodologies, and operational excellence tools within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience in manufacturing environments related to telecommunication, fiber optic, and cable preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools like Microsoft Project, Planview, etc., and approved AI tools
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience with project tracking, reporting, and implementation support
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
