About the Job

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) implementation, upgrade, migration, and support projects. This role combines project leadership with functional expertise, requiring active involvement throughout the project lifecycle—from pre-sales and discovery through implementation, go-live, and post-production support.

As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, functional consultants, technical teams, and third-party partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. You will not only manage project execution but also contribute to solution design, business process optimization, risk management, and customer success.

You're a key resource who works with technical lead, client side project managers, project team and functional consultants in finance, commerce, and manufacturing.

You will Need…

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 10-12+ years of experience in any ERP implementation including Microsoft D365 BC or NAV or F&SCM.
• Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Inventory.
• Experience in project coordination, requirement analysis, and project execution/management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certification (preferred).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end (Green field or a brown field) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, upgrade, and digital transformation projects.
2. Own project planning, scope management, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and overall project governance.
3. Conduct discovery workshops and gather business requirements, only if needed, across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Projects, and Service Management.
4. Translate business requirements into scalable Business Central solutions while ensuring alignment with Microsoft best practices.
5. Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Functional Consultants, Developers, QA teams, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Drive solution design discussions, review functional designs, and ensure quality deliverables before deployment.
7. Facilitate project steering committee meetings, status reviews, risk assessments, issue resolution, and executive reporting.
8. Monitor project health, proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
9. Coordinate data migration, integrations, ISV solutions, testing cycles (SIT, UAT), user training, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
10. Ensure project documentation is complete and maintained, including project plans, RAID logs, functional design documents, solution design documents, status reports, and meeting minutes.
11. Manage project financials including project budgets, effort tracking, forecasting, change requests, and scope management.
12. Build strong client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact throughout project delivery.
13. Mentor project teams, encourage collaboration, and ensure adherence to implementation methodologies and delivery standards.
14. Support pre-sales activities including effort estimation, proposal reviews, and project planning when required.
15. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize delivery processes, project governance, and implementation methodologies.
16. Ensure successful project transition into managed support while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
