JD -
Lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale Solar & BESS EPC projects across India and international markets. Drive project governance, cost control, schedule adherence, quality, safety, and stakeholder management. Accountable for portfolio P&L, team leadership, and delivery of organizational revenue and profitability targets.
Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Management
• Lead and oversee execution of Solar and BESS EPC projects across multiple geographies
Project Execution & Delivery
• Direct and monitor project execution from engineering through commissioning and handover
• Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned with business objectives
• Ensure effective coordination between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Quality, HSE, and Commercial teams
• Drive portfolio-level governance for consistency in project delivery standards
• Drive project milestones and proactively resolve execution bottlenecks
• Ensure achievement of project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and profitability targets
• Ensure optimum deployment of manpower, equipment, and project resources
• Provide periodic portfolio performance updates to senior management
• Lead project review meetings and monitor corrective actions
Project Planning & Controls
• Establish robust planning and monitoring systems using Primavera P6 / MS Project
Commercial & Financial Management
• Monitor project budgets, cash flows, billing, collections, and profitability
• Review and approve project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies
• Ensure adherence to approved project cost baselines and financial targets
• Monitor project progress against baselines and identify schedule variances
• Review commercial performance and identify margin improvement opportunities
• Drive recovery plans and corrective actions to address delays
• Support teams in claims management, variation orders, and contract administration
• Ensure effective reporting through dashboards and MIS
• Collaborate with Finance teams on forecasting and project financial reviews
Risk, Contract & Governance Management
• Establish risk management frameworks across projects
Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure implementation of quality assurance and quality control systems
• Monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance with project agreements
• Drive compliance with HSE standards, statutory regulations, and company policies
• Identify and mitigate execution, commercial, contractual, and operational risks
• Promote a culture of safety excellence across project sites
• Support dispute avoidance and resolution strategies
• Review project quality metrics and implement improvement initiatives
• Ensure governance compliance and audit readiness across all projects
Stakeholder Management
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, lenders, and regulatory authorities
Team Leadership & Capability Building
• Lead and mentor Project Managers and functional leaders across projects
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical project matters
• Build a high-performance project management organisation
• Lead customer reviews and project governance meetings
• Drive succession planning, capability development, and leadership growth
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business opportunities
• Establish KPIs and performance management frameworks for project teams
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
