Company Description Deep Cognition is building the AI backbone for global customs efficiency, helping logistics organizations streamline complex trade processes. Its flagship product, PaperEntry AI, automates data entry for commercial invoices, packing lists, and other trade documentation, and integrates directly with any TMS system. The solution can be fully operational in under two hours, removing one of the biggest bottlenecks in customs clearance.
Deep Cognition is already deployed at over 35 freight forwarders, including multiple top 25 global players, positioning the company as a category leader in AI-driven customs automation.
Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with some flexibility for working from home. The Sales Development Representative / Business Development Representative will focus on identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting outbound calls and emails, and scheduling product demonstrations for the sales team. The role involves researching target accounts, understanding their customs and logistics pain points, and articulating how PaperEntry AI can solve operational challenges.
Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in the CRM, collaborating with account executives to build pipelines, and following up consistently to move opportunities through the sales cycle. The individual in this role will work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and provide feedback from the market.

Qualifications
- Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills to identify, qualify, and nurture prospective customers.
- Demonstrated Sales and Business Development experience in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with global stakeholders.
- Comfort working with CRM tools, sales engagement platforms, and basic productivity software.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and meet targets consistently.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or enterprise software is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity about AI and automation, and willingness to learn continuously.
