Job Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities through cold calling, inbound lead qualification, outbound prospecting, and appointment setting. The primary objective of this role is to book high-quality meetings for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the sales team to drive business conversions.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, confidence in cold outreach, and the ability to engage decision-makers across global markets.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
Outbound Sales & Prospecting
- Perform high-volume outbound cold calling to prospective clients across the US, UK, and India.
- Identify and engage decision-makers including CXOs, Directors, Engineering Heads, Operations Leaders, and IT stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting activities.
Inbound Lead Qualification
- Handle inbound leads and qualify opportunities based on business requirements, budget, authority, need, and timeline.
- Respond promptly to marketing-generated inquiries and convert them into qualified meetings.
Meeting & Appointment Generation
- Schedule qualified meetings and discovery calls for SMEs and the sales team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handoff of opportunities.
CRM & Sales Operations
- Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in CRM tools.
- Track outreach metrics, call outcomes, follow-ups, and meeting conversion rates.
Market & Account Research
- Research target accounts, industries, and buyer personas.
- Identify business pain points and align Solidpro’s solutions accordingly.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, SMEs, and Business Development teams to improve outreach effectiveness and campaign performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven experience in cold calling and appointment setting.
- Understanding of B2B sales processes and lead qualification.
- Comfortable working in US shift timings.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain consistent outreach activity.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools is preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and process-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge in Email Cold Outreach Campaigns & LinkedIn Outreach Campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
- Any Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience selling Engineering Services, SaaS, IT Services, Digital Transformation, or Manufacturing-related solutions.
- Exposure to global markets such as the US and UK.
- Experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Saleshandy, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce.
