Job Summary:We are seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to support our business expansion in India. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing sales activities, bridging the gap between the engineering and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with customers to identify needs, propose solutions, and drive business growth.
Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:1. Presales & Technical SupportI. Collaborate with the India sales team to prepare proposals, quotations, and solution recommendations.II. Provide technical input for RFPs/RFQs and ensure proposed solutions meet client needs.III. Coordinate with internal engineering or product teams to tailor solutions for customers.
- Sales DevelopmentI. Support sales planning and pipeline management to achieve sales targets.II. Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
- After-Sales CollaborationWork closely with the service/support team to ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field).3-6 years of experience in sales engineering, presales, or technical sales roles (preferably in industrial, automation, or technology sectors).Strong technical understanding combined with customer-oriented communication.Ability to travel domestically for customer visits and regional meetings.Language: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in B2B solution selling or project-based sales.Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration between technical and commercial teams.Hands-on approach, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
