Key Responsibilities Salesforce Administration & Configuration Administer and configure Salesforce Education Cloud and related applications to meet business requirements Manage user roles, profiles, and security settings to ensure appropriate access controls Customize and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, and record types Perform system configuration updates, patches, and version upgrades Ensure compliance with security best practices and data governance policies Business Analysis & Recommendations Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Provide expert recommendations on issues, system optimization and efficiency improvements Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for enhancement or customization Development & Enhancement Perform new development work to meet evolving requirements Implement feature enhancements and customizations within Salesforce and integrated systems Utilize Salesforce best practices in all development activities Implement point-and-click solutions and custom code when appropriate Maintain code quality, security, and performance standards Document development changes and maintain version control Data Integration & Management Manage integration of Salesforce Education Cloud with Workday Student (SIS) via Informatica and connectors Maintain and develop integrations between Ed Cloud with external systems – Marketing Cloud, Application Mgmt. systems (industry application), Calendly, Zoom Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across integrated systems Reporting & Analytics Design, build, and maintain comprehensive Salesforce Ed Cloud reports and dashboards Create 360 dashboards, custom reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics System Maintenance & Support Monitor system health, performance, and capacity planning Perform routine maintenance tasks and housekeeping Coordinate with Salesforce support for escalated issues User Support Provide comprehensive user support and technical assistance Create and maintain user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Gather and prioritize user feedback for continuous improvement Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Ed Cloud, with a focus on data integrations – APIs and ETL tools Ed Cloud certified Proficiency in Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and analytics Experience managing user access, roles, profiles, and security controls Demonstrated business analysis skills with ability to translate requirements into solutions Knowledge of higher education business processes (preferred) Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills ⚠️ Disclaimer: Firstsource follows a fair, transparent, and merit-based hiring process.
