Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Seasonal Religious Life CoordinatorEmployment Period: June 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026 (Seasonal Contractor, Approx. 40 hours per week) Compensation: $20,000, plus 1 employee season gate pass, and 1 employee season auto pass.Type: Seasonal EmployeeReports to: The Vice President of ProgrammingDepartment: ProgrammingPosition OverviewThe Seasonal Religious Life Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and spiritually enriching environment for families at Lakeside Chautauqua during its summer season. This position has the following responsibilities:Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate needs for Youth and Teen ProgrammingBe a point of contact for the leads in the following programs and relaying any information to the VP of ProgrammingChildren’s Church and God SquadMiddle Grade MadnessTeen CenterEstablish and manage a weekly schedule of adult youth volunteers to assist in staffing “The Underground.”Assist in planning and implementing the Family Picnic at Perry Park on Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm.Assist in preparation for the Sunday services including but not limited to preparation of the bulletins, offertory and communion.Assist with daily logistics of both services on Sunday mornings throughout the season.Assist with daily logistics of Vespers and Faith for Living hours.Collaborate with Lutheran Week (June 21-26, 2026) and Camp Meeting Week (July26-30, 2026) leadership and assist with any related duties.Other duties as assigned by the VP of Programming.QualificationsREQUIRED:Experience in faith forming ministry, or related field.Demonstrated experience in leading child, youth and teen programmingExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to cultivate a positive, joyful, inclusive, and supportive environment for participants, their families, and volunteer staff.Undergo a background check. STRONGLY PREFERRED: A degree in education, Bible, music education, Christian Ministry, or related field.Obtained or in the process of obtaining formal clergy ordination.CompensationTotal Salary: $20,000, June–September, covering all responsibilities.

The coordinator will be paid during June- August according to the normal employee pay schedule (every 2 weeks), as outlined by Lakeside’s HR department.
