About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Advancement to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organization. This includes spearheading the development of national and regional strategies to secure annual funding, identifying and cultivating relationships with a diverse range of donors, and establishing performance measures to evaluate the effectiveness of the fundraising program.

The SVP will also be a key leader in the organization, fostering a culture of philanthropy, and working closely with the CEO and the board to engage in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' experience in revenue and fundraising strategy, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals
• Strong communication skills, ability to influence and engage stakeholders
• Deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Flexible and adaptable leadership style, excellent organizational skills
• Strong command of relevant tools and technologies
• Experience in managing a development team, background in storytelling and strategic engagement
• High level of integrity, ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel as needed
