Role Description The Senior Video Editor will lead the end-to-end post-production process for long-form documentaries, podcasts, and short form content, ensuring high-quality, cinematic storytelling that aligns with Hyper Quest narrative and educational goals. This full-time, on-site role in New Delhi involves assembling and editing footage, crafting narrative arcs, refining pacing, and integrating sound, visuals, and graphics to create engaging content for digital platforms. The person in this role will collaborate closely with directors, researchers, scriptwriters, and the production team to translate complex philosophical and scientific concepts into visually compelling stories.

Responsibilities also include overseeing color grading and motion graphics, maintaining a consistent visual style across projects, managing project timelines, and mentoring junior editors. The Senior Video Editor will also contribute to creative ideation, workflow improvement, and quality standards in the post-production pipeline along with utilization of latest AI tools.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in video production and video editing, with experience managing end-to-end post-production workflows.
• Proficiency in video color grading to achieve consistent, cinematic visual quality across content.
• Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to support storytelling and learning objectives.
• Advanced expertise in professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar tools).
• Demonstrated experience in documentary, educational, or long-form narrative content, preferably for digital platforms.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, sound design coordination, and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional creative and research teams, and to mentor junior editors.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity or interest in Indian philosophy, civilizational narratives, or educational content is a strong advantage.
• Comfort working full time on-site in New Delhi and managing multiple projects.
