Located in New Delhi and opening soon, it offers hospitality professionals a chance to help shape a unique, immersive concept from the ground up.Role OverviewAs a Sous Chef at The Frame, you will support the Head Chef in leading daily kitchen operations across multiple concepts and service styles. You will play a key role in maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation while ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment and is passionate about innovation, teamwork, and delivering memorable guest experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations across multiple dining concepts.Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency.Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow during service.Support menu development, seasonal offerings, and special event menus aligned with The Frame's creative vision.Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.Monitor inventory, stock levels, ordering, and food cost control.Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.Coordinate with front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.Train and develop junior chefs while fostering a collaborative and respectful kitchen culture.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environmentQualifications2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role within a high-end, concept-driven, or multi-outlet restaurantStrong culinary foundation with excellent cooking techniques and knife skillsKnowledge of menu planning, food costing, inventory management, and portion controlThorough understanding of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and kitchen best practicesProven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage diverse kitchen teamsCreative approach to dish development, plating, and presentationExcellent time management and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environmentFormal culinary education or certification is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be consideredWhy Join The FrameBe part of a passionate and talented culinary team.Work in a creative, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.Learn from experienced chefs and industry professionals.Opportunities for career growth and internal promotions.Contribute to menu innovation and culinary creativity.
