About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Data & Analytics (D&A) specialist seller to lead sales efforts in India for our Global D&A practice. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing opportunities in data strategy, analytics, cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric), and related managed services, working closely with local clients, partners, and internal delivery teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape the D&A go-to-market strategy in a high-growth market, backed by a global delivery network and strong partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of D&A opportunities across target accounts in India, aligned to company growth targets.
- Develop deep relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders (CDOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Analytics) to understand business challenges and position relevant solutions.
- Collaborate with practice SMEs, solution architects, and delivery teams to shape compelling proposals, RFP responses, and commercial constructs.
- Drive the end-to-end D&A sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Partner with hyperscaler and technology alliances (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks) to develop joint go-to-market plays in-country.
- Maintain TCV forecasting, pipeline reporting and ACV estimating
- Represent the company at local industry events, forums, and client engagements to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Stay current on local market trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape affecting D&A buying decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of sales experience, with at least 10 years focused on D&A technology solutions (MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Engineering and Data Cloud platforms)
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding D&A quotas within India, ideally within a GSI, consulting, or technology services environment.
- Strong network of client and partner relationships in-country.
- Solid understanding of data platforms, analytics tools, and AI/ML solution offerings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Fluency in (local language) and English.
- Willingness to travel within the country as required.
Preferred
- Existing certifications or partner relationships with major data platform vendors (Snowflake and Databricks).
- Experience selling managed services or outcome-based engagements.
