Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Revenue Accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), Revenue Recognition, Revenue Billing, Oracle ERP, and Financial Reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented accounting professional with excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of accounting standards and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Revenue Accounting and Record-to-Report (R2R) activities.
• Perform revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Handle revenue billing processes with accuracy and ensure timely invoicing.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries during monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items promptly.
• Execute cash reconciliations and support trial balance preparation and reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial records.
• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Business, and Operations to ensure seamless accounting processes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• CA Qualified: Minimum 4+ years of post-qualification experience in Revenue Accounting (Articleship experience will not be considered).
• MBA / Commerce / Finance Graduates: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Revenue Accounting and Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Strong hands-on experience in Revenue Recognition and Revenue Billing.
• Experience managing end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Hands-on experience working with Oracle ERP.
• Strong expertise in Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Cash Reconciliations, and Trial Balance reporting.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and complex formulas.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or CPA are preferred.
