Job DescriptionStructural Design Engineer Location: Galway Structural Design Engineers with 3-5 years' experience required to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering high-profile structural projects across Ireland. This consultancy works across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, education and major infrastructure developments. Projects: Commercial Office Developments Residential & Mixed-Use Developments Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities Healthcare & Educational Buildings Sports & Entertainment Facilities Infrastructure & Public Sector Projects Responsibilities: Design structural elements in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry in accordance with Eurocodes.

Prepare structural calculations using both hand calculations and specialist structural engineering software. Prepare technical reports, specifications and structural design documentation. Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements: Level 8 Honours Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent. 35 years' experience working as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and structural analysis. Experience designing steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures to Eurocodes.

Experience producing structural calculations and technical reports.
