Job DescriptionWe are looking for a proactive and results-driven Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of our end-to-end supply chain operations at our clients 30,000 sq foot site in Park West Dublin 12. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure materials, inventory, production planning, and logistics activities are aligned to meet customer demand while driving efficiency and cost optimisation.
Due to location Own transport would be required Salary, Hours & Benefits: €63,000 Monday to Thursday 8am 4pm, Friday finish at 3pm Pension contribution Responsibilities: Develop and oversee inventory strategies for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to support production and customer delivery targets. Manage production planning activities to ensure manufacturing schedules are aligned with business requirements. Monitor inventory accuracy through robust cycle counting and stock control processes.
Coordinate the successful introduction of new products into the manufacturing process. Collaborate with production, procurement, quality, engineering, and customer-facing teams to support business objectives. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations, material handling, receiving processes, and inventory management.
Drive initiatives that improve material flow, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining high service levels. Manage domestic and international freight activities, including shipping documentation and compliance requirements.
Review transportation methods to achieve the most cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions. Maintain and update departmental procedures, work instructions, and training documentation. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and logistics functions.
Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure operational excellence. Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the business. Set up and cleaning of the training room when required Assist perform daily cycle counting Key Requirements: Previous experience in a Supply Chain or Materials Management role, ideally within manufacturing.
Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain best practices. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline is desirable. Experience coordinating logistics activities, including international shipments, is advantageous.
Familiarity with modern ERP, inventory management, and planning systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. Leadership or people management experience would be beneficial.
