Job DescriptionSupply & Demand Planner (Luxury Retail) - APAC Market Dublin City Centre (Hybrid) As the Supply & Demand Planner, you'll be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, driving inventory optimisation, and supporting end-to-end planning processes. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, you'll help ensure products are available at the right time while minimising inventory risk and improving overall business performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for existing product portfolios using market data, historical trends, and business insights.
Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to forecast new product launches and integrate them into the overall demand plan. Act as the key point of contact between local and regional planning teams to ensure forecast alignment. Manage product lifecycle planning, including phase-ins, phase-outs, and the impact of new product introductions on existing demand.
Participate in forecast reviews, budget planning, and long-term planning cycles. Monitor and analyse forecasting KPIs, including forecast accuracy and service level performance. Drive continuous improvement of forecasting processes, planning models, and system enhancements.
Maintain a single integrated forecasting process while accommodating market-specific requirements. Establish inventory targets to achieve agreed customer service levels. Calculate monthly supply requirements to support inventory and service objectives.
Monitor supply planning, production, inventory, and service level KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement. Work cross-functionally to minimise inventory risk, reduce obsolescence, and support financial objectives. Coordinate planning priorities across Demand, Supply, Distribution, Commercial, and Finance teams.
Support and facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Ensure successful new product launches through effective supply planning. Lead end-of-life planning activities to minimise excess stock and inventory write-offs.
Background: A degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline. Around 2-3 years' experience within Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or a similar planning role. Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools. Knowledge of demand planning methodologies and inventory management principles. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to improve processes and develop reporting tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments. Experience working within a matrix or international organisation would be advantageous. Fluent English.
Chinese language skills or experience working with APAC markets would be highly desirable. TPBN1_IJ
