Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing team on a permanent basis. The Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting the manufacture of electronic products through external manufacturing partners. The role focuses on ensuring manufacturing efficiency, product quality, supply continuity, and successful introduction of new products into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support to contract manufacturers.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and production transfers.
• Resolve manufacturing, quality, and production issues.
• Manage engineering changes and ensure manufacturing documentation is up to date.
• Identify and mitigate component supply and manufacturing risks.
• Drive manufacturing process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support production test development and validation.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, planning, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years\' experience in electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
• Experience supporting NPI and manufacturing operations.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience with manufacturing transfers.
• Knowledge of component lifecycle management.
• Experience delivering manufacturing cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
