About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Techno Commercial Executive to support our sales operations for a leading biotechnology company. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong scientific background who are interested in building a career in techno-commercial sales and customer support within the Life Sciences industry.
The successful candidate will work closely with the National Sales Manager and Sales Team to manage quotations, customer follow-ups, tender submissions, lead validation, and other commercial activities while leveraging their technical knowledge of molecular biology products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Support
- Prepare and submit quotations to customers in a timely manner.
- Follow up with customers on submitted quotations and inquiries.
- Validate and qualify sales leads generated by the sales team.
- Coordinate and submit tenders through GeM and non-GeM procurement platforms.
- Support order processing and maintain commercial documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
- Assist the sales team with day-to-day techno-commercial activities.
Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries related to products and services.
- Provide basic technical information and coordinate with technical teams whenever required.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate sales records, quotations, and reports.
- Prepare sales-related MIS and documentation.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the National Sales Manager.
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc. Biotechnology
- M.Sc. Microbiology
- MBA (Biotechnology/Life Sciences)
- Equivalent Life Sciences qualification with relevant experience
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a techno-commercial, sales support, inside sales, or customer support role within the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
- Freshers with exceptional communication skills and relevant internship experience may also be considered.
Technical Knowledge
Candidates should possess basic knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Primer Synthesis
- Gene Synthesis
- Sanger Sequencing
- Molecular Biology Products and Services
