Our portfolio is a rapidly growing personal care brand who is looking for a commercially-driven Trade Marketing Specialist to bridge brand strategy and in-market execution across General Trade and Modern Trade channels. This role will be instrumental in driving sell-out performance, in-store excellence, and channel-specific growth strategies. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Key Accounts to ensure that their brand wins at the point of purchase where it matters most. Key ResponsibilitiesChannel Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute channel-specific trade marketing plans across GT and MT channelsTranslate brand campaigns into effective in-store and online activationsCustomize assortments, pricing, and promotions based on channel dynamics and shopper behaviorTrade Promotions & Commercial PlanningPlan and manage monthly/quarterly promo calendars aligned with sales targetsDesign trade schemes, bundling strategies, and discount mechanics to drive sell-outEvaluate ROI of promotions and continuously optimize for efficiency and impactIn-Store Excellence & VisibilityEnsure strong in-store execution: shelving, planograms, POSM deployment, visibility assetsWork with sales teams/distributors to improve numeric & weighted distributionDevelop guidelines for perfect store execution and monitor complianceShopper & Channel InsightsAnalyze sell-in vs sell-out data, competitor activities, and market trendsGenerate actionable insights on shopper behavior (especially moms & caregivers)Identify whitespace opportunities for new SKUs, bundles, or channel expansionCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Brand Marketing to ensure campaign alignmentWork with Sales & Key Account teams on joint business planning (JBP)Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure availability during promotions and launchesBudget Management & Performance TrackingManage trade marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of A&P spendTrack KPIs such as sell-out growth, promo ROI, distribution gains, and visibility scoresPrepare regular performance reports and recommendations
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing/Sales/Commercial roles in FMCGStrong understanding of Indonesia retail landscape (GT & MT exposure is a must; e-commerce is a plus)Proven track record in executing trade promotions and in-store activationsStrong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionsHands-on, execution-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentExperience in personal care, baby care, or relevant categories is a strong advantage
