This role oversees the financial operations of a hospitality unit, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and managing cost controls. The UFC ensures accurate accounting records, timely financial reporting, and compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, identifying variances, providing insights to management, and supporting decision-making to improve profitability. The role also involves close collaboration with operations, procurement, and senior leadership to maintain financial discipline and support strategic initiatives.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills to manage unit-level financial operations effectively.Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate and timely preparation of reports.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.Experience in the hospitality industry or a service-oriented environment, with familiarity in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, along with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and uphold ethical and compliance standards.
