Job Summary
As the Art Director at Fraganote, you will define and elevate the creative vision of the brand across every consumer touchpoint. You'll lead the visual language of campaigns, product launches, content, packaging, and digital experiences while ensuring every piece of communication reflects the sophistication and emotional depth of the brand.
This role goes beyond execution—you'll be responsible for conceptual thinking, creative direction, mentoring the design team, and collaborating closely with marketing, content, photography, product, and founders to create work that is culturally relevant, visually distinctive, and commercially impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Fraganote's creative and visual identity across digital, print, packaging, retail, and social platforms.
- Conceptualize and lead end-to-end creative campaigns for product launches, seasonal drops, and brand initiatives.
- Direct the overall visual storytelling of the brand across performance marketing, organic content, website, email, and offline experiences.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the design team while maintaining exceptional creative standards.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, stylists, content creators, and marketing teams during creative planning and production.
- Review and approve all creative assets before publication to ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment.
- Drive innovation by exploring new design trends, visual styles, AI-assisted creative workflows, and emerging cultural aesthetics.
- Build scalable design systems and creative processes that improve efficiency without compromising quality.
- Balance strong artistic vision with business objectives, ensuring creative work contributes to brand growth and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in creative design, with at least 3–4 years leading creative projects or teams.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, campaign design, packaging, digital marketing creatives, and visual storytelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and creative workflow tools. Motion design experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of typography, composition, colour theory, luxury aesthetics, and brand systems.
- Experience working in D2C, beauty, fashion, luxury, lifestyle, or consumer brands is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional creative taste with an eye for detail and a passion for building iconic brands.
