Role OverviewThe Business Director will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key client relationships, leading strategic pitches, and overseeing large-scale experiential marketing projects from brief to execution.
This is a leadership role that combines business development, client leadership, strategy, revenue management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate should have strong relationships within brands and agencies, understand experiential marketing deeply, and be capable of converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development- Identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with brand marketing teams, procurement teams, and agency partners.
- Develop annual business growth plans.
- Lead networking initiatives and industry outreach.
- Convert leads into long-term clients.
- Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Own relationships with key clients.
- Act as the senior strategic advisor for client accounts.
- Understand client business challenges and proactively recommend solutions.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
- Lead creative brainstorming for pitches.
- Convert briefs into strategic experiential solutions.
- Collaborate with Brand Strategy, Design, Production, and Operations teams.
- Present concepts confidently to senior client stakeholders.
- Drive innovation across events, retail, activations, and brand experiences.
- Own revenue targets and profitability.
- Monitor project margins.
- Ensure commercial viability of every project.
- Review budgets before client submission.
- Forecast monthly and quarterly revenue pipelines.
- Lead and mentor Account Directors, Group Account Heads, and Client Servicing teams.
- Build a high-performance culture.
- Conduct weekly business reviews.
- Coach teams on client management and strategic thinking.
- Participate in hiring and performance evaluations.
- Provide strategic oversight on marquee projects.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between Creative, Production, Operations, and Client Servicing.
- Resolve escalations proactively.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- 10–15+ years in experiential marketing, events, integrated marketing, retail design, or brand experience agencies.
- Proven experience managing large national accounts.
- Existing relationships with leading brands and marketing decision-makers.
- Experience leading multi-city campaigns and large production projects.
- Strong understanding of fabrication, retail environments, activations, and experiential execution.
