Job Summary
MNR University invites applications from passionate and qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS). The selected candidates will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, conducting practical and clinical sessions, mentoring students, and contributing to research and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom lectures, practical sessions, and clinical demonstrations.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessments.
- Guide and mentor students in academics, clinical training, and projects.
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.
- Assist in research, publications, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Maintain academic records and ensure compliance with university and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with hospitals and clinical departments for student clinical postings.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree in the relevant specialization from a recognized university.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 5 years of teaching or clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching, research, and student development.
Required Qualifications
- Physiotherapy: MPT
- Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology: M.Sc. MRIT / Equivalent
- Anesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology: M.Sc. AOTT / Equivalent
- Optometry: M.Optom / Master's in Optometry
- Medical Laboratory Technology: M.Sc. MLT / Medical Laboratory Sciences
Preferred Skills
- Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities.
- Strong clinical knowledge in the relevant specialization.
- Research aptitude with publication experience (preferred).
- Ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment.
