About the Role
We're looking for an Executive – Business Development to own the top of our sales funnel and drive it through to a qualified pipeline. You'll be responsible for identifying prospects, running outbound campaigns, and booking qualified meetings for the senior sales team — supported by a modern outbound tech stack (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Instantly) and AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to work smarter and faster.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and continuously refine targeted prospect lists using Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, aligned to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Design and execute outbound email sequences/campaigns using Instantly, monitoring deliverability, open rates, and reply rates.
- Run multi-channel outbound outreach — email, LinkedIn, and cold calling — to generate qualified top-of-funnel leads.
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to research prospects, personalize messaging at scale, draft sequences, and handle objection-response drafts.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads (fit, intent, and readiness) before handing them to the senior sales/presales team.
- Schedule and coordinate discovery calls/demos, ensuring a smooth handoff with complete prospect context.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline and activity records in the CRM/tracking systems.
- Track and report on funnel metrics — outreach volume, response rates, meetings booked, and conversion to next stage.
- Continuously test new messaging, channels, and sequences to improve top-of-funnel conversion.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation (BPM/CX, SaaS, or IT services background preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to write crisp, persuasive outreach and hold a confident conversation with prospects.
- Street-smart and resourceful — comfortable figuring things out, persistent without being pushy, and quick to adapt outreach based on what's working.
- Genuine curiosity and hands-on comfort with AI tools like ChatGPT/Claude for research, drafting, and productivity — this will be evaluated directly.
- Working knowledge of (or strong aptitude to quickly learn) Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Instantly.
- Self-driven with a bias for action — comfortable with outbound/cold outreach and handling rejection as part of the job.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA is a plus but not mandatory.
