We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Executive who enjoys meeting customers, generating business opportunities, and building long-term business relationships.
Role Objective
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business, expanding Jetprix's market presence, and achieving assigned sales targets through customer visits, solution selling, and relationship management.
This is a 70% field sales role, ideal for professionals who enjoy travelling, meeting industrial customers, and converting opportunities into business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Field Sales- Generate new business through field visits, networking, referrals, and exhibitions.
- Visit OEMs, Industrial Customers, EPCs, Dealers, and Distributors to generate enquiries.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable battery and power solutions.
- Build long-term customer relationships and achieve monthly sales targets.
Market Development
- Identify new distributors, dealers, OEMs, and business opportunities.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Share market feedback and business opportunities with management.
Sales Coordination
- Coordinate with Internal Sales, Technical, and Operations teams for smooth order execution.
- Prepare quotations, follow up with customers, and close business opportunities.
- Maintain CRM records, visit reports, sales pipeline, and weekly activity reports.
Exhibitions & Branding
- Represent Jetprix at exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events.
- Generate and convert exhibition enquiries into business opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of B2B Field Sales or Business Development experience.
- Experience in Industrial Batteries, Lead Acid Batteries, Lithium Batteries, Solar, UPS, Power Backup, Electrical Equipment, EPC, OEM, or Industrial Product Sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to independently generate leads and close business.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
