We are looking for enthusiastic, confident and ambitious individuals to join our Mumbai office as Business Development Interns.

The Role

As a Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for promoting our international internship programmes to students from our partner colleges and universities, guiding them through the initial stages of the application process and helping them achieve their dream of gaining international work experience.

This is a people-focused role suited to someone who enjoys interacting with students, presenting opportunities and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote Vira International's overseas internship programmes to students.
• Counsel and guide students on internship opportunities.
• Conduct presentations, seminars and career guidance sessions at partner colleges and hotel management institutes.
• Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the recruitment process.
• Build strong relationships with placement officers, faculty members and college management.
• Meet student recruitment targets and contribute to the growth of our programmes.
• Maintain accurate student records using the company's CRM system.
• Coordinate with internal recruitment, admissions and visa teams to ensure a smooth student journey.
• Represent Vira International at education fairs, campus events and recruitment drives.

Who We're Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business or a related field.
• Passion for hospitality and international careers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Confident speaking to groups of students.
• Friendly, outgoing and persuasive personality.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel locally to colleges and recruitment events.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality, admissions, counselling, education or sales.
• Experience conducting presentations or interacting with students.
• Knowledge of international education or hospitality internships would be an advantage.
