The Deputy Project Manager Cleanroom Project will lead the end-to-end execution of modular cleanroom
installation projects, including planning, procurement, installation, commissioning, and client handover.
This role requires strong expertise in cleanroom construction, modular systems, and site execution, ensuring
projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with ISO cleanroom standards (ISO 5ISO 8).
The role provides hands-on exposure to advanced manufacturing infrastructure projects in semiconductor
fabs, battery cell plants, and solar manufacturing facilities, offering unique opportunities to develop specialized
expertise in a niche and high-growth industry segment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Site Management
•Lead on-site installation and execution of modular cleanroom panel systems, including wall panels,
ceiling grids, covings, doors, and viewing panels.
•Manage daily site operations and ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and
installation quality standards.
•Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors for seamless project execution.
Project Planning & Scheduling
•Develop detailed project timelines, milestones, and resource planning.
•Monitor project progress and proactively address potential delays or technical challenges.
•Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines and budget constraints.
Technical & Quality Compliance
•Ensure installation complies with ISO 14644 cleanroom standards and industry best practices.
•Monitor panel sealing integrity, structural alignment, and contamination control requirements.
•Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation layouts.
Cross-Functional Coordination
•Collaborate with MEP teams, HVAC engineers, and facility contractors to ensure proper integration of
lighting, utilities, and cleanroom infrastructure.
•Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve site challenges.
Resource & Cost Management
•Manage site manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to optimize efficiency.
•Track project budgets, manage procurement schedules, and control site expenses.
•Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and cost documentation.
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
•Maintain safe working conditions and implement industry-standard safety protocols and 5S practices.
•Ensure full compliance with client safety regulations and site environmental standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
•Bachelor’s degree OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction
Management, or related discipline
Experience
•5–10 years of experience in cleanroom construction, modular panel systems, or advanced facility
infrastructure projects
•Experience working on high-Tech Cleanroom manufacturing Facility such as:
oSemiconductor Manufacturing facilities
oBattery cell manufacturing plants
oSolar Cell manufacturing facilities
oPharmaceutical or hospital cleanrooms
Technical Expertise
•Knowledge of ISO 14644 cleanroom standards
•Experience with modular cleanroom panel materials such as Aluminum Honey comb, PUF, Rockwool,
and HPL
•Strong understanding of cleanroom systems and contamination control
Software Skills
•AutoCAD for drawing review
•MS Project / MS Excel for project tracking and planning
Leadership
•Proven ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
•Successful project completion within timeline and budget
•Zero-defect cleanroom installation and successful cleanroom validation
•Compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
•Client satisfaction and successful project handover
Preferred Skills
•Experience with HVAC integration within cleanroom environments
•Exposure to advanced Cleanroom manufacturing facilities
•PMP or equivalent Project Management certification
•Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
