About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with neurological conditions and physical impairments through non-surgical medical interventions, rehabilitation strategies, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities:Assess and manage patients with Acquired Brain Injury, Movement Disorders, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Neurodegenerative Disorder and Pain Management.Develop individualized, goal-oriented rehabilitation plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and complementary therapy providersPrescribe and oversee physical therapies, medication management, and assistive devices or orthotics as appropriate.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal functional recovery and quality of lifeProvide patient and family education about condition management, prognosis, and home care strategiesParticipate in team meetings, case conferences, and care planning discussionsMaintain accurate medical records, clinical documentation, and comply with regulatory and ethical standardsContribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and training programs as needed Qualifications and Requirements:MBBS with MD or DNB in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) from a recognized institutionValid medical license/registration with the relevant Medical CouncilMinimum 2-5 years of experience in a neurorehabilitation, hospital, or rehabilitation centre setting preferredStrong clinical reasoning and communication skillsEmpathetic and patient-centered approach to care Desirable Skills:Experience in botulinum toxin administration, spasticity management, neuro-musculoskeletal ultrasound or EMG/NCS is an advantageFellowship in Neurorehabilitation preferred
