Knowledge & Experience Qualifications skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate ITIL Foundation Required Skills Mandatory Database administration experience (4-7 years).
Strong SQL knowledge. Experience with at least one enterprise database platform: Oracle SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL Database backup and recovery expertise. Performance tuning and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with database monitoring tools. Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts. Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Preferred Oracle RAC administration. Oracle Data Guard administration. SQL Server AlwaysOn administration.
Cloud database services administration. Scripting and automation experience. Infrastructure knowledge (Windows/Linux/Storage).
