Oracle GL tester

JOB DESCRIPTION Req ID: 378253 We are currently seeking a Oracle GL tester to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN). 10+ years of Experience Role Purpose The Test Manager will be responsible for end-to-end test management for the Oracle General Ledger (GL) workstream within the MITBIT transformation programme. This role will ensure robust governance, execution, and reporting across SIT and UAT. Oracle GL is the organisation’s central financial system of record, supporting financial accounting, reporting, period close, and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities • Manage the full testing lifecycle for Oracle GL across SIT and UAT • Define and document the test approach, strategy, and governance framework • Oversee test case creation, quality, and upload into Jira Xray • Run user workshops on test execution and updating results • Work with users to establish daily test execution forecasts and burndown tracking • Facilitate daily SIT/UAT stand-ups • Produce MI reporting including burndown charts, defect metrics, and progress tracking • Manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle • Define defect retesting and re-entry into SIT/UAT • Coordinate environments across application owners to enable E2E testing Oracle GL Functional Scope • Financial Accounting: Recording and consolidation of financial transactions • Financial Reporting: Balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow • Period Close & Consolidation: Month-end and year-end processes • Chart of Accounts Management • Journal Processing • Regulatory & Compliance Reporting Key Skills & Experience • Proven Test Manager experience in transformation programmes • Strong Oracle GL and finance process knowledge • Experience with Jira/Xray • SIT/UAT delivery expertise • Strong stakeholder management skills Success Measures • Full test coverage across Oracle GL • Clear and accurate reporting • Effective defect management • Successful SIT and UAT delivery with sign-off readiness • Strong testing governance and control Note : Hybrid WFO About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
