Job SummaryWe are seeking an Executive, Customer Service Booking (Shipping) to manage booking requests and coordinate shipments. You will liaise with customers, process bookings, monitor cargo movements, and work with internal and overseas teams to ensure smooth operations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented with strong communication skills; shipping or logistics experience is preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesTo liaise with customers on shipments dates and any special requirements pertaining to customers’ orders fulfilment.To process booking acknowledgement within lead-time.To monitor and follow-up on special cargo.To liaise with Marketing team for space control.To monitor detention and payment, terminal transmissions etc.To coordinate with local and overseas stakeholders.To perform any other duties as assigned.
Job RequirementsCandidates who possess at least a Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics or Shipping-related disciplines are preferred.Proficient in MS Office such as Excel and Word applications.Experience in analytics or Live Chat functions will be an added advantage.Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.Able to work under stress and fast-paced environment.Self-motivated, result-oriented and resilient.Candidates with at least one year of relevant working experience have an added advantage.Knowledge in a similar role in shipping agency will be preferred.Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments when required.
