Field Service Engineers provide comprehensive service on assigned equipment maintaining high customer satisfaction, timeliness, accuracy, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. Provides technical assistance to support our customers in any manner as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Installs, commissions, and maintains products at user’s site. Performs modifications or retrofits as neededMaintains complete and detailed knowledge of products and applicationsAssists other Field Service Engineers, Process Engineers, and Sales Representatives with product installations, trade shows, training, and other events as requiredProvides technical assistance in any manner required for Installation and commissioningMaintains accurate records and issues complete and timely reports on equipment operationsOther duties as assigned
Domain and Product:Understanding and serviced Deposition and Etch machines
QUALIFICATIONS:Certified to perform field service as per local law or Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering or related fieldMinimum three years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment installation and commissioningPrior experience performing multiple on-site installations requiredMust possess a valid driver’s license and passport
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to read and interpret technical journals and reportsAbility to obtain necessary Visa(s) to support customers as assignedAbility to compile reports and compose routine correspondenceAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to travel extensively and work in shifts to support customer needs
Language:Bilingual English and Mandarin – Read, write and Speak
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Work is performed at the factory and individual customer sites as requiredThe incumbent is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, touch, see, and hear, and may be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds; over 50 pounds with assistanceWhile performing the regular duties of the position, the incumbent is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. The incumbent must be able to wear safety equipment and follow safety instructions.
