Position SummaryThe Global Product Marketing Communications Manager provides essential support in developing and executing global go-to-market, communication, and messaging strategies for the Dornier MedTech product portfolio. Working internally with the Global Product Marketing team, the role ensures product messaging and content remain accurate and aligned throughout the product lifecycle.
In addition, it collaborates cross-functionally with the Digital Experience Team and the Head of Corporate Communications to maintain a unified brand voice, optimize digital presence, and deliver consistent communication strategies. The position also manages the in-house design team (currently 2 FTEs), overseeing creative development and ensuring compliance with corporate design and identity guidelines. By coordinating internal and cross-functional efforts, this role plays a key part in supporting Dornier MedTech’s global communication initiatives.
Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities
Strategic Communication & MessagingSupport the Global Product Marketing team in developing and refining global go-to-market, communication, and messaging strategies for the Dornier MedTech product portfolio.Assist in creating product messaging and content for all phases of the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
Content Development & Brand ManagementContribute to the design and production of promotional materials (e.g., brochures, product sheets, websites) in compliance with corporate design and identity (CD/CI) guidelines and company SOPs.Ensure adherence to branding standards across all products, services, and marketing assets; support ongoing brand updates including visuals and guidelines.Actively assist in creating internal communication materials and customer/distributor newsletters, including maintaining key platforms such as SharePoint.
Approval & ComplianceCoordinate the internal review and approval process for product materials in collaboration with legal, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams.Monitor and ensure compliance within the respective marketing budget.
Events & Digital PresenceSupport the organization of selected trade show appearances at national and international levels, ensuring compliance with CD/CI and agreed budgets.Maintain the Dornier website with exhibition and congress dates where Dornier participates or showcases products.Participate in selected conferences and workshops.
Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborating with regional marketing leads to develop regional campaigns and marketing materials, including translations of global content into local languages.Partner with the Digital Experience Team to optimize web and social media presence, ensuring consistent and engaging product messaging across digital channels.Work closely with the Head of Corporate Communications to align product communication with corporate brand strategy and support internal and external communication initiatives.
Secondary ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop direct reports (currently 2 FTEs), fostering talent and creating efficient team structures and processes to support high-quality output.
Vendor ManagementOversee external vendors in the development and production of marketing materials, videos, graphics, and other creative assets, ensuring quality and adherence to brand standards.
Product & Market KnowledgeMaintain a moderate level of product knowledge to effectively communicate product details and value propositions.Stay informed about customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity; share insights with cross-functional teams to optimize messaging and content across all marketing channels, including digital.
Additional DutiesPerform other responsibilities as assigned by the manager to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Job Requirements
Education/QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business,Marketing, Communications or a similar field
ExperienceMore than five years of working experience in a marketing communications capacity; preferably from within the medical device and/or healthcare fieldWork experience in a global role preferred
AptitudeIndependent, solution-oriented, and organized professional with a strong team spirit and hands-on mentality;Confident and collaborative, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Resourceful, with attention to detailsExcellent communication, people management and networking skillsIntercultural competence.
Operational SkillsExcellent English and mandarin skills, both written and spoken.Proficient in Microsoft office tools
