We are building a unified platform that combines business operations, sales, recruitment, learning, and growth tools into one intelligent ecosystem. As part of our expansion, we are hiring two senior sales leaders, Head of Sales Ecommerce and Head of Sales – Ed-Tech & Coaching, to build and scale two strategic verticals in Garage.
These are high-ownership roles for experienced sales professionals who can bring industry knowledge, relationships, and execution capabilities to drive revenue growth.
Position Overview
We are hiring two senior Sales professionals, each responsible for driving growth in a specialised vertical:
Head of Sales – Ecommerce: We are seeking a sales leader with proven experience selling SaaS or technology solutions to ecommerce brands, D2C businesses, online retailers, marketplaces, or platform partners. The ideal candidate understands the ecommerce ecosystem, including how online businesses grow, acquire customers, and evaluate technology investments.
Head of Sales – Ed-Tech & Coaching: We are seeking a sales leader with a strong understanding of the Ed-Tech, coaching, training, and creator economy sectors. Beyond selling software, the successful candidate will be able to engage entrepreneurs, educators, consultants, and business owners on how to build, launch, and scale knowledge-based businesses using Garage.app.
Candidates are expected to bring deep expertise in one of these verticals; experience across both is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth within the assigned vertical.
- Build, manage, and consistently maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Identify, engage, and convert qualified prospects into long-term customers.
- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, solution presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Understand customer business challenges and position Garage.app as a strategic growth solution.
- Develop relationships with founders, business owners, decision-makers, and ecosystem partners.
- Build and leverage industry networks, communities, and referral channels to generate opportunities.
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract closure and onboarding.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.
- Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to support product and go-to-market strategy.
- Collaborate closely with leadership, marketing, and customer success teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Represent Garage.app at industry events, conferences, webinars, and networking forums where relevant.
Preferred Background
- 5–8 years of experience in technology, SaaS, platform, or solution sales.
- Proven success selling into a specific industry vertical, with preference for Ecommerce, Ed-Tech, Coaching, Training, or Creator Economy businesses.
- Strong understanding of how businesses in the assigned vertical operate, grow, acquire customers, and evaluate technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to engage founders, business owners, and senior decision-makers in consultative sales conversations.
- Experience building and managing a sales pipeline independently, from prospecting through closure.
- Existing industry relationships, networks, or partnerships within the assigned vertical will be an advantage.
- Experience working in a startup, high-growth, or entrepreneurial environments preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- Familiarity with AI-powered sales, CRM, and productivity tools is desirable.
- Ability to operate with high ownership, bring industry insights, and contribute to the development of a scalable go-to-market strategy.
