Job Description
We are looking for a HR professional with solid experience supporting a broad range of HR activities across employee relations, recruitment, policy administration, and day-to-day HR operations. This new hire will sit on the people and talent team and will report into the Head of the Dept. The candidate must have experience and or exposure in managing grievance and disciplinary processes, coordinating recruitment activities, supporting policy reviews and updates, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient HR service delivery.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and employee lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations
- Support the management of employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and performance issues.
- Assist managers with employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in investigations, note-taking, and documentation of ER cases.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Learning & Development
- Coordinate assigned learning sessions, including scheduling, learner communications, nominations, attendance capture, evaluations and follow-up activity.
- Draft content/material for new eLearning modules
- Maintain accurate learner and programme records, including operational trackers, shared mailbox actions and relevant learning system updates.
- Support appropriate storage and organisation of learning materials, attendance information and programme evidence for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Identify and escalation delivery risks, capacity constraints, technology issues and learner experience concerns in a timely and solutions-focused way.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist our in house recruiter during peak recruitment campaigns including job postings, candidate phone screening, interview scheduling and any other elements of this process that require attention.
- Liaise with hiring managers
- Support onboarding activities and ensure a positive candidate experience
- Maintain recruitment tracker and reporting metrics where required.
Health & Safety
- Assist with the H&S and risk assessments of the office in line with policies and procedures.
- Be the point of contact for all aspects of H&S to ensure Risk mitigation
- Conduct any investigations and write up reports in relation to H&S
- Contribute to HR projects focused on process improvement and policy implementation.
HR Administration
- Maintain records and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare HR reports and support audit where required
- Respond to employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience in a varied HR role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in HRM
- Experience in a highly regulated environment
- Exposure to employee relations, including grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Experience reviewing or updating HR policies and procedures.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
