Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join a global People Operations team supporting employees across the EMEA region. This role is ideal for someone with strong HR operations experience who enjoys resolving complex employee queries, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the escalation point for complex HR operational queries, supporting employee lifecycle processes across EMEA.
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters to employees, managers, HR Business Partners, Centres of Expertise, and external vendors.
- Manage and support onboarding, offboarding, internal movements, contract renewals, and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure high-quality delivery of HR operations, benefits administration, and employment-related services.
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including HR systems enhancements, process optimisation, organisational changes, and employee programmes.
- Assist with local HR compliance activities, government reporting requirements, employee communications, and site initiatives.
- Review, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
- Partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to support organisational changes, employee data updates, performance and reward cycles, and other people initiatives.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for HR programmes, training, and employee activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR Operations or HR Shared Services environment.
- Strong experience managing complex HR cases and employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding.
- Good understanding of EMEA employment legislation, HR policies, and HR operational best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of a global organisation.
- High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Experience working with HR systems, ideally Workday and ServiceNow.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience supporting HR process improvements or HR transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
