As an Industry Solutions Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to cable manufacturers, helping them improve productivity, streamline engineering processes, and accelerate their digital transformation journey. This is a unique opportunity to combine industry expertise, solution consulting, business development, and customer engagement in a high-impact role.
Initially, your focus will be on our cableCORE DesignCenter solution, supporting customers in cable design, engineering data management, and product development. Over time, your responsibilities will expand to include ERP, manufacturing operations, and broader enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for professionals who combine strong technical or industry knowledge with excellent communication skills and a consultative mindset.
You may have experience in:
- Product Management or Product Development within a cable manufacturing company.
- Engineering or Technical Services in the cable industry.
- Industrial software consulting or solution advisory.
- PLM, ERP, MES, CAD, or engineering software.
- Manufacturing digitalization or enterprise software implementation.
You do not need to have held a formal sales role. What matters most is your ability to build trusted customer relationships, understand business challenges, lead meaningful conversations, and independently drive opportunities to successful commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Indian cable manufacturing industry.
- Build strong relationships with engineering leaders, product managers, plant leadership, and executive stakeholders.
- Generate and qualify opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Represent InnoVites at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Solution Consulting & Sales
- Own the complete consultative sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
- Conduct discovery workshops to understand customer challenges and business requirements.
- Deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and business value propositions.
- Prepare proposals, business cases, commercial quotations, and negotiate agreements.
Customer Success & Industry Advisory
- Advise customers on cable design, engineering data management, PLM, ERP, and manufacturing best practices.
- Collaborate with consulting and implementation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support product strategy.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in cable manufacturing, industrial software, engineering consulting, or digital transformation.
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows, product lifecycle management, manufacturing processes, or cable product development.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as PLM, ERP, MES, CAD, or engineering software is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professional working proficiency in Hindi to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders across India.
- Strong presentation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, customer-focused, and willing to travel extensively across India and occasionally internationally.
