Position Summary:

We are seeking anInformatica Data Catalog Engineer / Governanceprofessional with deep expertise inInformatica CDGC, IDMC, and related governance toolsto configure, manage, and optimize enterprise data catalog and governance environments. This role will focus onsecurity, role-based access controls, SAML/SSO integration, metadata profiling, marketplace configuration, and compliance-driven data governance.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in cross-platform integration, data quality rule definition, and supporting governance initiatives to classify and protect sensitive financial and customer data, particularly withinauto finance domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure security, role-based access controls (RBAC), and policy-based access controls (PBAC)
• Create and configure connections to SaaS platforms, mainframe, databases, NoSQL, and AWS services (S3, Athena, Redshift, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in connection setup and performance bottlenecks during profiling
• Monitor IPU consumption and automate reporting to domain teams
• Configure Cloud Marketplace with Informatica CDGC and CDMC for policy-based data protection
• Review Informatica upgrade schedules, evaluate new features, and communicate updates to technical/business teams
• Coordinate with business teams on upgrade timelines and implementations
• Work with infrastructure teams to establish AWS ECS/EKS clusters for profiling workloads
• Support governance efforts for sensitive data classification and protection
• Develop APIs to fetch cross-region metadata/glossary between North America and Japan
• Ensure compliance with governance standards (GDPR, CCPA, SOX, etc.)
• Setup SAML/SSO, users, groups, certificates, and IP whitelisting
• Perform metadata scanning, profiling, and data observability tasks
• Define and implement data quality rules

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of progressive experience inInformatica platform administration
• 5+ years of progressive experience indata catalog and governance (CDGC) administration
• 3+ years of progressive experience withInformatica APIs
• 3+ years of progressive experience inInformatica data integration
• 2+ years of progressive experience inInformatica data marketplace and data access management tools
• Strong knowledge of the overallIDMC platform
• Experience inauto finance domains(originations, servicing, collections, customer data)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including presentations and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Informatica CDGC certification
• AWS certifications
• 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience
• Stable work history with large enterprise organizations
