Technical Infrastructure Project Manager, Dublin (Hybrid), 3–6 Month Contract, Competitive Day Rate, Immediate Start

An established IT services organisation is seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to join its delivery team in Dublin on a 3–6 month contract.

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of complex infrastructure, cloud and IT security projects for enterprise customers, working alongside solution architects, technical consultants, engineering teams and key customer stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Microsoft infrastructure, cloud transformation and enterprise technology delivery within an IT services, managed services or consultancy environment.

Technical Infrastructure Project Manager Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise infrastructure and cloud transformation projects.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams across Microsoft Infrastructure, Azure, Microsoft 365 and IT Security technologies.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, governance, RAID logs and resource planning.
• Coordinate internal technical teams, third-party suppliers and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, hybrid infrastructure and workplace transformation programmes.
• Monitor project performance, manage risks, issues and dependencies, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
• Produce executive reporting and facilitate governance meetings with senior customer stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, delivery methodologies and change control processes.

Technical Infrastructure Project Manager Required Experience

• 5+ years' experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud transformation projects.
• Proven experience delivering projects within an IT services, managed services or consultancy environment.
• Strong technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure and Microsoft technologies, including:

Microsoft 365

Exchange Online

SharePoint Online

Microsoft Teams

Windows Server

Active Directory

Networking

Hybrid Infrastructure

Identity & Access Management

Cyber Security

• Experience delivering cloud migration, infrastructure refresh, data centre migration, hybrid cloud, security or modern workplace programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with CIOs, IT Directors, Infrastructure Managers and technical leadership teams.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and third-party vendors.
• Strong commercial awareness, including project budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery environments.

Certifications

Candidates should hold one or more of the following:

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• AgilePM Practitioner or Scrum certification
• ITIL Foundation

Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305 or MS-900 would be advantageous.
