Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, we are hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major roadworks project in North Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and delivery-focused Project Manager with proven experience managing large-scale roadwork projects within Ireland or the UK.

The Role

As Project Manager with Wills Bros, you will take responsibility for the successful planning, coordination, commercial management and delivery of a major roadworks project in North Dublin.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of a large-scale roadworks project.
• Managing day-to-day project operations, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and programme delivery.
• Taking ownership of project planning, sequencing, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, quality requirements and client expectations.
• Managing commercial performance in conjunction with the commercial team, including cost control, variations, forecasting and reporting.
• Driving compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards across the project.
• Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Leading project meetings, progress reviews and communication with senior management.
• Identifying risks, resolving technical and operational issues, and maintaining momentum across all phases of delivery.

About You

We are interested in hearing from experienced Project Managers who possess:

• Irish or UK project delivery experience is essential.
• Strong experience working with a main contractor in civil engineering, roads, infrastructure or heavy civils.
• Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to manage programme, cost, risk and project performance.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing site teams, subcontractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements within live civil engineering environments.
• Strong communication, organisation, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to drive delivery and make clear decisions under pressure.
• A full, clean Irish driving licence.

Experience in roads, transport infrastructure, drainage, utilities, earthworks, structures, traffic management and live road environments is highly desirable.
