As the Ordnance Performance Lead, you serve as the critical technical link between advanced munition technology and the soldiers who depend on it. You aren’t just managing systems; you are ensuring our firepower is optimised for the specific, complex needs of the modern battlefield.Operational Customization and Innovation: Customise munition systems by working with ops users to tackle new operational scenarios and firepower needs, using engineering tools to refine and adapt munition solutions for real-world scenarios.Tech Integration: Oversee the practical integration of emerging technologies, such as UAV payloads and precision munitions, ensuring they work reliably in the fieldField Performance Validation: This isn’t a desk job.
Lead the technical planning for field tests and trial firings to validate that the engineering solutions meet operational standardsTechnical Problem Solving: Diagnose root causes of performance issues and work with defence partners to implement practical design improvements.
