Lead/Principal Transport Economist

We are looking for a Lead/Principal Transport Economist (Economics and Business Case) to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins Realis office in Bangalore/Gurgaon, India.

How will you contribute to the team?

Essential requirements -

· Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor’s Degree with Master’s degree in transport economics)

· Working experience (10 to 15 years) in Transport Appraisal software like TUBA, COBALT, AMAT, WITA and other bespoke spreadsheet assessments.

· Experience and knowledge of Transport Economic concepts and guidance.

· Knowledge of the technical transport planning environment

· Strong numerate and analytical abilities, including a high degree of competence in MS Excel

· Experience in programming skills like Python, PowerBI, Excel-VBA and R.

· Able to write a quality technical report

· Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project

· Good written communication skills

· Be able to work individually.

· Be able to delegate the tasks
