About the Company
Super Smart Service Ltd (SSS) is a multinational logistics company under Zong Teng Group, established in the UK in December 2015.
Our mission is to provide reliable warehousing and international delivery solutions for Chinese cross-border e-sellers and UK local online retailers.
We operate globally, with more than 10 warehouses across the UK, covering over 250,000 square meters.
About the Role
As a Legal Associate, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day legal matters, reviewing and drafting contracts, supporting compliance within the UK, and providing legal advice.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in both English and Chinese, as you will be in regular contact with our HQ in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to logistics, cross‑border e‑commerce operations, and real‑estate transactions.
- Provide legal support and guidance to management and other departments on compliance, employment law, and commercial law matters.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary to resolve disputes or handle complex cases.
- Communicate regularly with HQ in China to align on legal requirements, policies, and risk management.
- Support the company in ensuring compliance with local regulations, including the Data Protection Act, labour law, commercial law, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in managing corporate governance matters, maintaining records, and updating internal legal policies.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on essential legal and compliance matters.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in Law from the UK.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) to ensure smooth communication with HQ in China.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Legal Associate in a law firm or an in‑house legal department. Experience in logistics, e‑commerce, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong legal drafting, contract review, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships across departments.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within a team environment.
- High level of initiative and problem‑solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
