Job Description
Job Description – Manager, Commodity Products (B2B & B2C)
Location: Delhi and Bengaluru/Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Drive the growth of the commodity business across retail (B2C) and channel/partner (B2B) segments.
- Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) on client meetings to pitch commodity trading, investment, and hedging solutions.
- Cross-sell commodity products to existing equity and investment clients.
- Identify and activate dormant clients and increase participation in commodity trading.
- Work closely with branches, RMs, and channel partners to achieve commodity business targets.
Client Advisory & Product Solutions
- Engage with HNI, UHNI, and Corporate clients to recommend suitable commodity solutions for trading, hedging, and fund deployment.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of commodity derivatives and options strategies to provide value-added solutions to clients.
- Provide market insights and product recommendations aligned with client objectives.
Sales Enablement & Training
- Conduct regular training programs for Relationship Managers, branch teams, franchisees, and business partners on commodity products, trading platforms, and options strategies.
- Educate internal teams on product positioning, market opportunities, and client conversations to improve sales effectiveness.
- Develop sales presentations, product decks, FAQs, and training material.
Product Promotion & Marketing
- Prepare client presentations, product brochures, investment decks, and communication material.
- Organize client engagement initiatives including seminars, webinars, investor awareness programs, and branch events.
- Coordinate with the Marketing team for campaigns to increase awareness and client participation in commodity products.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Research, Operations, and Compliance teams to execute business initiatives effectively.
- Support new product launches and ensure smooth implementation across channels.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of experience in Commodity Products, Commodity Advisory, Commodity Sales, Product Management, or Business Development within a broking, wealth management, banking, or financial services organization.
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, futures, derivatives, and options strategies.
- Proven experience in catering to HNI, UHNI, and Corporate clients for trading, hedging, and investment opportunities.
- Experience in driving commodity business through both B2B (partners/franchisees/channels) and B2C (direct clients) models.
- Demonstrated ability to activate clients and channel partners, increasing commodity business volumes.
- Experience in conducting product training and educating Relationship Managers, branch teams, and partners.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation tools.
Educational Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
