The Marketing and Events Officer is responsible for assisting with the ongoing marketing and lead generation activities that underpin recruitment of new students to our portfolio of brands, including supporting campus activity and online event and information session activity. This role is critical as a key point of contact for the development and execution of our marketing and promotional activities taking place in virtual and online spaces for potential student engagement, as well as supporting the network of Marketing & Events Officers across our campus locations for their engagement at key external community and industry events. Working with key stakeholders across the campus network, along with Brand, Events and Schools stakeholders, this role develops and implements solutions that improve the profile of our brands and deliver a high quality experience for potential students.
This is a full-time, ongoing position with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per annum (exclusive of superannuation), commensurate with experience.
Key Result Areas
- Plan, coordinate, and execute online student engagement events, including information sessions and masterclasses, that underpin national recruitment activity.
- Support the broader Marketing and Events Officer network nationally in support of campus based activity including planning and implementation of open days, information sessions, workshops, and other recruitment‑related activities.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of key events, including school career days / expos, education career expo’s, industry events, local sponsorship events, and other recruitment‑related activities, campus and course launches.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the smooth implementation of events.
- Create event schedules, manage budgets, and track event attendance and outcomes against targets and objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in event management, preferably in an educational or youth‑oriented setting.
Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies, with a focus on lead generation and brand promotion.
