Mechanical Engineer (Jurong Island)

Job Responsibilities: Plan and supervise the maintenance team in the execution of assigned plant maintenance activities within schedule and cost, in compliance with regulatory and company's standards and requirements, in particular company's safety standards, as well as to develop staff capabilities using appropriate capability interventions and on-the-job trainingSupporting the Power Plant to meet the contractual, technical and commercial set-up and operationSupervise preventive and corrective maintenance carried out for all plant equipment and plant utilitiesPerform frontline troubleshooting on plant equipment defects and failure to maintain high availabilityProvide necessary guidance and advice to maintenance staff or external contractor to execute the maintenance work in a good engineering mannerDaily maintenance manpower planning and allocationMaintain and update maintenance data and maintenance record for all plant equipment and plant utilitiesCheck that PPE are provided and subordinates are utilizing it by executing works with all safety precautionsAdditional tasks and responsibilities given by power plant management Job Requirements:

Degree in EngineeringMinimum 5 years work experience with equipment related to craftKnowledge in craft eg, Pumps, Compressors, HRSG , Valves , Fans and etcExperience involvement in technical aspects of Power Plant or Process Plant maintenanceGood hands-on knowledge in performing Power Plant or Process Plant equipment maintenanceExperience in the erection, commissioning and initial start-up phases of a modern Power Plant is an advantageKnowledge on system including installation, troubleshooting, routine inspection and maintenanceKnowledge on vibration monitoring and alignment of rotating equipmentKnowledge on lubricationKnowledge in maintaining maintenance record in CMMSCandidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Engineer role
