Designation - Project Manager
Qualification- B. Tech or Graduation in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
Location - Mumbai – Head Office
Key Responsibilities
• Plan all installation projects with the required sub-contractors based on specific project needs. Ensure that work begins smoothly on site and that every project is handed over to the client with complete and proper documentation.
• Assign tasks to skilled team members based on their individual expertise, experience, and the specific requirements of each project to ensure efficient execution.
• Study flooring CAD files and project drawings carefully to conduct accurate cost estimations. Provide the sales team and clients with realistic, well-calculated budgets.
• Ensure that client billing and payment recovery for all locations is completed on time as per the project stages. Track all outstanding payments on a weekly basis to avoid any delays.
• Monitor project financials across all Pan India locations. Track all expenditures on a regular basis to ensure costs remain within the approved budget and prevent any overruns.
• Implement effective site management strategies to optimise operations, improve efficiency, and ensure the smooth functioning of all installation and service sites.
• Travel Pan India as required to review flooring installations on site. Ensure all work is carried out in full compliance with application standards and quality requirements, jointly with site engineers.
• Identify and onboard qualified sub-contractors through a thorough and rigorous evaluation of their technical expertise, past work experience, and capabilities.
• Explore and implement innovative construction and installation methods to continuously enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity on site.
• Conduct regular review meetings with all site in-charges to discuss project progress, address on-site challenges, and present timely reports to senior management.
• Negotiate rates with vendors and suppliers to secure the most favourable terms. Contribute to overall budget efficiency and cost savings for the company.
• Coordinate effectively with all internal teams including sales, factory, design, and site engineers to ensure seamless and timely project execution from start to finish.
• Plan and place orders for flooring materials well in advance as per the specific requirements of each project to avoid any delays or disruptions on site.
• Ensure all sub-contractor payments are processed on time as per the project progress and within the approved weekly budget to maintain smooth site operations.
• Ensure precise and accurate execution of all site activities by thoroughly studying project drawings and work orders before commencement of work.
• Facilitate smooth and efficient site operations through effective coordination and communication with clients, architects, and sales teams.
• Maintain detailed daily progress reports and proper documentation to keep all stakeholders informed and updated on project status at all times.
• Identify and resolve on-site design issues promptly to support the timely and quality delivery of all projects without any disruption to the workflow.
• Manage all billing processes and site operations efficiently, ensuring prompt follow-up on client payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies found in construction documents by liaising directly with designers and architects to ensure complete clarity and precision in execution.
• Track all upcoming orders on a regular basis to plan and prepare the site well in advance, ensuring there are no last-minute delays or disruptions to the project schedule.
• Conduct site visits and project meetings as per the requirement of each project to ensure smooth progress, timely decision-making, and effective communication with all concerned parties.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time as per the agreed schedule and that the overall quality of work delivered is of the highest standard and meets the expectations of the client.
