Project Manager (Renewable Energy) | 12-Month Freelance Contract | Frankfurt

I'm currently supporting a leading renewable energy client who is looking to engage an experienced Project Manager for a 12-month freelance contract based in Frankfurt.

This role will see you taking ownership of large-scale renewable energy projects from development through to execution and delivery. You will work closely with engineering, construction, grid, permitting to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Location: Frankfurt (Hybrid/Site-Based)

Contract Length: 12 Months

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: Competitive Daily Rate

Key Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale renewable energy, infrastructure or energy transition projects
\n
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, risk management and project controls
\n
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors and key stakeholders
\n
• Familiarity with permitting, grid connection and construction processes within Germany
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Fluent German and English preferred
\n

Responsibilities

\n
• Lead project delivery activities from development through to construction and commissioning
\n
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery
\n
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction and operations
\n
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise
\n
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, regulatory requirements and company procedures
\n
• Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders and project sponsors
\n
